Additional to the manual iris diaphragms, motorized versions are available. Their advantage is that they can be used in inaccessible places or closed devices, as they can be remote-controlled.
The motorised iris diaphragms are delivered in housing and compatible to the System Kit SYS 65, this means that they have an optical height of 32.5 mm.
The motorisation is available in two different types, either with 2-phase step motor with preloaded gear or with DC servomotor with encoder and preloaded gear. The iris diaphragms are equiped with two limit switches to indicate the end positions (iris diaphragm open or closed).
Totally closable iris diaphragms consit of two lamella sets with 2.8 mm distance.
